Sankofa Menstrual Feminine Washable Hygiene Pad for Girls

Girls in Haanaa Basic School in Kpone Katamanso District in Tema received 65 Sankofa Care Initiative Menstrual Feminine Washable Hygiene pad to help the girls stay in school. Using the SCIMFWH kits can last up to 2 to 3 years if the girls take good care of the pads. The boys and the girls also received training on health and safety issues. This distribution was done through the kind courtesy of Semester at Sea students enrolled in Adolescent Psychology.
